With the sunrise actually being visible here the past two mornings, I have finally had an opportunity to attempt some sunrise shots along the Lamar waterfront just north of the campground.

One of the duck hunters probably responsible in part for the absence of whooping cranes, but the fog hanging over the water and catching the sunrise colors, made him an interesting photo subject.

Still no opportunities to get any whooping crane shots on this trip.

  1. Those cloud reflections are stunning! I like the birds, but it’s nice to have a little variety. What a great life you have now!

    1. Thanks! I can’t complain about much other than the weather that has prevented me from getting any sunrise shots until last Saturday. Still, a dreary day here on the shore still beats a snowy, slushy day back up north.
